The following instructions explain how to upgrade your subscription after your free ten day trial of Private WiFi is over. These instructions contain all the necessary steps; however, you may have already done some of them. To buy a subscription to Private WiFi after your trial has ended:

I. Purchase and Download Private WiFi

    1. Click the Private WiFi shortcut on your desktop or in your system tray. A message informs you that your trial period has ended.
    2. Click Buy.
    3. In the Monthly or Annual box (depending on what subscription type you want), click Buy under the number of devices you want to protect.
    4. Read the Subscription Terms, and then click Accept.
    5. Review your shopping cart information, and then click Checkout.
    6. Enter your personal information and then click Next.
    7. Enter your credit card or PayPal information, and then click Next.
    8. Review your order information, and then click Submit Order.
    9. Next to For Windows/PC users, click Download Now.
    10. Click Save File to download the Private WiFi installation files to your desktop.

      II. Install Private WiFi

      1. After the Private WiFi installation files have been downloaded, click the .exe file to open it. A security warning may appear asking if you want to run this file.
      2. Click Run. The InstallAware Wizard appears which leads you through the installation process.
      3. Click Next.
      4. Read the License Agreement and Terms of Service, and then select the 'I accept the terms of the license agreement' checkbox, and click Next.
      5. Select the destination folder within which you want to install Private WiFi, and then click Next.
        Note        : The default location is your Program Files folder in your C: drive.
      6. Click Next, or edit the program name and specify if you want all users or only your user account to be able to access a desktop shortcut for Private WiFi, and then click Next.
      7. Click Install.
      8. Click Finish.

      III. Activate Private WiFi

      1. On the Welcome screen, enter your email address and click Continue.
      2. Enter your device’s name and your Private WiFi password, and then click Continue.
        Note: Use the same email address and password for all devices with your subscription.
      3. After the Private WiFi screen appears, click Quick Start Guide to view the Quick Start Guide, or Close to go to the Welcome screen.

      If Private WiFi does not load automatically, click the Private WiFi shortcut on your desktop or the Private WiFi icon in your taskbar (PC) or menu bar (Mac), and click Activate. You are now completely protected by Private WiFi and can surf the Internet or send emails knowing you are completely protected.

      1. Go to / and click Get Protected.
      2. Click Start a FREE 10-Day trial.
      3. Enter your email address in the text box and click Download .
      4. Click Save File to download the trial version to your desktop.

      II. Install Private WiFi

      1. After the Private WiFi installation files have been downloaded, click the .exe file to open it. A security warning may appear asking if you want to run this file.
